1. Introduction

Studywise ("we", "our", "us") provides intelligent scheduling tools for students. We are committed to a "Zero-Retention" approach for your AI data to ensure the highest level of privacy and safety.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide our service:

• Account Information: Your email address and name provided via Apple or Google Sign-In.
• Schedule Data: The homework tasks, subject names, and "Peak Energy" preferences you create.
• Technical Data: Basic logs required to sync your schedule and ensure app stability.

3. AI Processing (Google Gemini)

Studywise uses Google Gemini (Enterprise Tier) to turn your voice into scheduled tasks.

Pass-Through Processing: Your voice transcriptions are sent to Google in real-time to extract scheduling details. Studywise does not store these transcriptions after the task is created.

No AI Training: We use a paid enterprise service. Google contractually agrees NOT to use your data to train their AI models.

Safety Monitoring: Google may temporarily retain data for up to 55 days solely for safety and abuse monitoring, after which it is purged.

4. Protections for Teens (Ages 13-16)

Studywise is for users aged 13 and older. For users aged 13–16, we automatically apply high-privacy default settings. We do not engage in behavioral tracking, data sales, or targeted advertising.

5. Data Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time within the app by going to Profile > Settings > Delete Account. This action is permanent and purges your data from our servers (Supabase) immediately.
